 RoadMaster
Truck Driving School
Provides
(6) campuses the main campus is located on 7 ½ acres,
in Orlando Flordia and is a great place to train and play.
It is a short distance from all the Disney theme parks, hotels,
and amusements, Mall of the Millennium, and other area attractions.
The facility brags a state-of-the-art 26,000 square feet of
classrooms, offices, a service shop, student lounge, resource
area, drive yard, and has the only complete concrete truck
training grounds in Orlando. This is used in skill training
like backing, docking, and maneuvering. Training uses only
modern equipment, such as late-model Volvo tractor trailers,
and is the only training facility in Florida to use a shifting
simulator for classroom indoor training. Classrooms are air
conditioned and equipped for discussions and demonstrations.
Students also train in a real shop environment on engines,
parts, models, and other props. Over-the-road instruction
includes driving on different vehicles of various weight configurations
over state, federal, county, and city routes.
More
than 15,000 students have graduated from this facility, largely
due to the faculty and staff which are second to none. Instructors
are third party CDL testers, have at least 5 years over-the-road
experience, and many are Million + Milers. The School Director’s
15+ years in the transportation industry leads the way to
a complete training program for students. Each instructor
has the knowledge, ability, background, willingness, and patience
to train students to meet their objectives. Student/teacher
ratio is 4-1 over-the-road, 12-1 for skill courses, and 35-1
in the classroom.
